North East estate agent Philip Taylor fired from The Apprentice

NORTH East estate agent Philip Taylor has become the latest Apprentice candidate to get the boot from Sir Alan Sugar.
The 29-year-old heard the dreaded words “you’re fired” in last night’s episode of the hit BBC show about budding entrepreneurs.
The man who waltzed into the show declaring ‘business is the new rock ’n’ roll and I’m Elvis Presley’ finally paid for his attitude – which has led to him calling a fellow contestant ‘dumb as a doorknob’. After flirting with fellow contestant Kate Walsh in front of team-mates, Phillip, who fears his legacy will be the “Pants Man” character he devised in a previous show, has had blazing rows with another contestant, Lorraine Tighe. Sir Alan told Philip, from County Durham, that he was out because his bravado and attitude were not going to fit into his organisation.
In the infamous boardroom, he said to Philip: “You’re certainly a fiery person and I’m thinking about the hundreds of other people that I employ and thinking of their reaction to you. I think I’m clear in my mind that your bravado and attitude isn’t going to fit in my organisation.” Visibly crushed, Philip, who works for Durham-based Robinsons Chartered Surveyors, stormed out of the boardroom. Later in the black cab out of the show, he said: “I’m disappointed. I thought I had the potential to go a lot further than this.
“Unfortunately I crossed paths with Lorraine and it was the end.
“Yes I’ve got a big mouth there is no doubt about it, but I’m a much better candidate than she is.
“I think they’ll remember me and I think they’ll remember the Body Rocka -– but unfortunately they’ll also remember Pants Man.”
