Supplement reveals how to be an entrepreneur during recession

SOME of the North East’s most experienced business people will tomorrow provide a revealing insight into what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur during a recession.

Individuals such as Miller UK boss Keith Miller and estate agent Keith Pattinson are amongst those sharing their thoughts in a special supplement entitled Let’s Stay Positive, which will be published free with The Journal tomorrow.

Let’s Stay Positive is a joint initiative between The Journal and the Entrepreneurs Forum and is supported by regional development agency One North East and Business Link.

As well as a series of in-depth feature interviews with business personalities connected with the Forum, the publication is also packed with advice aimed at those who are running businesses in today’s challenging business climate.

Mr Miller, who has overseen major changes at his Cramlington-based company as it has reacted to changing business conditions over the years, speaks candidly about the challenges of restructuring a business and the importance of being an effective leader.
