COMPETITION is already hotting up between traders taking part in The Journal’s new stocks and shares game Taking Stock.

Almost 200 players have already begun trading on the fantasy game which is hosted on our business website, www.nebusiness.co.uk.

And there are some impressive performances from the top players already with the top trader “MrRisk” currently sitting on a portfolio of more than £123,000 – a £23,000 increase from where he started on Wednesday. In second place is the player known as WhiteVanMan whose portfolio is worth around £115,000.
