Amazing offers on Weardale home sales

TWO of the most weird and wonderful offers yet on new homes was announced yesterday in a bid to lure people into buying during the credit crunch.

A North businessman is selling a small rural estate of three houses in Weardale with the bonus of a luxury holiday in Thailand and a cruise on his yacht.

And anyone buying a new two-bedroom flat at one block in Pity Me, County Durham, could win their money back in a draw.

Bob Wolff, owner of Wolff Marketing, is moving to the Asian paradise with his wife and the couple have put the entire East Park estate, at Witton Park up for sale – though the properties are available separately. With fine views over open countryside towards Witton Castle, the properties are being sold for a total price in the region of £1,180,000.

The buyers will enjoy a holiday in the Laguna Beach Resort on the island of Phuket, with two days cruising on Mr Wolff’s yacht.

Mr Wolff said: “Through owning a house and yacht in Phuket, I am fortunate to be able to offer a wonderful incentive to purchasers of my development of three properties at Witton Park, where I have lived very happily since 1992.

“I have arranged a 12-day holiday, including travel days, flying by business class and staying at the 4.5 star Laguna Beach Resort, which is situated on the prestigious Bank Thao Bay on the west coast of the island of Phuket.

“Half board accommodation would be in a suite of rooms.

“Also included would be two separate day cruises on the luxury motor yacht Sea Wolff with a crew of captain, deckhand and cook, visiting the famous James Bond island in Phang Nga Bay, location for the film The Man with the Golden Gun, and also Phi Phi Island, where Leonardo DeCaprio starred in The Beach.

“An alternative would be to try some game fishing to the south of Phuket for tuna, sailfish, wahoo and barracuda.”
