Stars support auction in bid to save Seaton Delaval Hall

TIME is running out to bid for once-in-a-lifetime prizes that are being auctioned to support the National Trust’s appeal to save Seaton Delaval Hall.

Items have been donated by the likes of Jonny Wilkinson and Shay Given and put together in a sale on the online auction site eBay.

To take part, go to www.journallive.co.uk/auction – all money raised will go directly to the bid for the 18th Century hall.

Among the items on offer will be a Newcastle United shirt and programme signed by goalkeeper Shay, plus a signed Jonny Wilkinson How to Play Rugby My Way book.

Other items include a family ticket to the South Shields Customs House pantomime, a signed copy of the Hairy Bikers cookbook, a watercolour print of the hall by Michael Weaver and a crate of Delaval Ale from the Wylam Brewery.
