Celebrity model Abi signs in

THE nation's newest celebrity author arrived on Tyneside last night to promote her 'Secret Diaries', telling fans "It's just like Bridget Jones".
Abi Titmuss, who found fame from modelling after the infamous video involving her and former boyfriend John Leslie was released, signed books at Gateshead’s MetroCentre.
The one-time nurse was greeted by around 40 people, even including some women, who had queued in WHSmith for the chance to meet her.
Surrounded by piles of her book, titled ‘The Secret Diaries of Abigail Titmuss’, she chatted and posed for photographs with fans as they snapped up copies of the autobiography.
Two of those who had queued were friends Anne-Marie Pettit and Tracey Hamilton, from Hebburn, South Tyneside.
Anne-Marie, 31, bought a copy for her holiday reading, and to make husband Richard jealous. She said: “We’d popped up here anyway and I remembered she was here and thought ‘holiday reading’. She seemed really nice, I liked her. She said it was just like Bridget Jones.”
