Hunt for missing Lottery winner
Dec 31 2007 by Audrey Barton, The Journal
LOTTERY bosses are asking a North winner to claim a £250,000 prize.
Time is running out for the winner to come forward.
The mystery person bought their winning Thunderball ticket six months ago but the deadline is this Thursday.
Lottery bosses Camelot say the ticket was purchased in Bishop Auckland, Ferryhill, or Sedgefield in County Durham or from Stockton on Teesside.
If the prize is not claimed by 5.30pm at the latest, it will be given to the Lottery’s Good Causes fund.
A last-ditch attempt is being made to find the winner.
The winning numbers drawn on July 7 were 10, 12, 18, 21, 29 and the Thunderball was 5.
Anyone who believes they have the ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0845-910 0000.
