Be a voice of the North

Do you want to help shape The Journal’s news agenda?

Do you have an opinion on the issues of the day?

Do you want them to be heard?

Scores of Journal readers do – and they are now members of The Journal Jury.

We are launching The Journal Jury – a text-based interactive service which allows readers to be have their say on the big issues of the day – instantly.

We want to be able to text a pool of our readers on occasions – never more than twice a month – and ask them what they think of the main news stories of the day.

We will also ensure that the questions are on subjects relevant to you. Almost 80 readers have already signed up.

Journal editor Brian Aitken said: “We want readers to have more of a say in The Journal’s new coverage. Texting will provide people with a quick and easy way of getting their point of view on to the news pages of The Journal.”

He added: “The Journal Jury will give every reader the chance to actually shape The Journal’s news content.”

To be a member of The Journal Jury, simply fill in the form on this page and post it to The Journal Jury, The Newsdesk, The Journal, Groat Market, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 IED.
