Tickets contest is pure Madness

Madness, the original and self-proclaimed Nutty Boys, are poised to raise the roof at the Metro Radio Arena on Thursday night... and you could be going to see them.

The band, which peppered the charts with 21 top-20 singles during the 1980s, have returned to the UK following a festival-filled summer in Europe. It's their first tour in three years.

Keyboard player Mike Barson says: "You try to escape it but you can't - it's in our blood. Every few years we have to release the Madness and soak up the pleasure that it brings."

There are some tickets left for Thursday's gig. Tel 0870 707-8000 or visit www.metroradioarena.co.uk for details.

Alternatively, you can enter our competition for one of three pairs of tickets we've been given by those kind folk at the Arena.

In addition, the winner will receive a prize they're calling Madness - The Lot. This translates as all six of the band's albums, now re-mastered, and all 24 of their videos - plus a 36-page booklet.

The two runners-up, who also receive a pair of tickets, will each get a Divine Madness Collection, which features both a CD and a DVD in one greatest hits box.

To enter, send your answer to the question below, along with your name, address and daytime phone number, by email to sam.wonfor@ncjmedia.co.uk Entries must arrive by noon tomorrow (Wednesday, December 13).

The first correct three entries, drawn at random, will receive the prizes as offered. Usual competition rules apply (available on request) and the editor's decision is final.
