Killings and disappearances go back several years

A number of women have either been killed or vanished in similar circumstances to Gemma Adams and Tania Nicol in East Anglia over the past 13 years.

But police say they have no evidence to link those crimes to the latest deaths.

* 1992 - Natalie Pearman, 16, was found strangled after disappearing from the red light area of Norwich.

* 1993 - Mandy Duncan, 26, of Woodbridge, Suffolk, vanished while working as a prostitute in Ipswich.

* 2000 - Kellie Pratt, 29, disappeared from the red light area of Norwich.

* 2002 - Michelle Bettles, 22, was found strangled three days after disappearing from the red light district of Norwich.

* 2002 - Norwich prostitute Hayley Curtis, 23, was murdered.

* 1999 - Sixth-form student Vicky Hall, 17, was murdered after vanishing near her home in Trimley St Mary, Suffolk.
