Could you be a Sofa Superstar?
Tyneside furniture store Barker and Stonehouse is looking for people with star quality to front its latest web TV campaign.
The store, in Strawberry Place, Newcastle, is offering the chance for wannabe presenters to get in front of the camera - as the new presenter for its web TV films.
Managing director James Barker said "The North-East is full of real people with real star quality, so we're expecting a great response.
"We want real people to be the stars of this campaign - after all they are the people that know us best." People are being encouraged to sing their favourite song, tell a joke, try an impression or any other performance that will catch the judges' eyes.
Barker & Stonehouse recently launched Your House TV on its website with several films giving people interior styling advice.
The new presenter will be the star of the new web films produced as part of Barker & Stonehouse's spring campaign next year; working with the company's style advisers, photographers and film crew.
A shortlist of potential presenters will be unveiled at www.barkerandstonehouse.co.uk and people are being urged to log on to vote for their favourite. The entrants will be whittled down to a final five and a panel of judges will make the final decision.
Anyone with star quality should send their clips - no more than one minute long - to dhird@barker-stonehouse.co.uk
