Public Diana hearings

The former senior judge overseeing the Diana inquest yesterday backed down over plans to hold the preliminary hearings in private. Lady Butler-Sloss has now decided to hold the meetings scheduled for early January in public. She has been persuaded to change her mind because of public interest in the case.
