Golf helps kids charity

Former Auf Wiedersehen Pet star Tim Healy holds his 15th Celebrity Golf Classic at Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Club on Sunday, September 24 when more than 30 teams are expected in the event which again supports the region's leading child health charity, The Children's Foundation, which last year benefited by £10,000.

Voting changes
FINAL proposals for new electoral arrangements in Wansbeck have been submitted to the Electoral Commission by the Boundary Committee for England.
They include changes to ward boundaries but recommend that the size of the district council should remain at 45 councillors.
