This is an unusual tour by Main Line hauled train travelling over the Blyth and Tyne Line and the Weardale Railway to Stanhope. Neither of these lines is open to regular traffic or passenger trains, so this is an extra special occasion. We will pass through scenic and interesting areas along the route in the company of our locomotive for the day – the former LMS Jubilee 5690 Leander.
