ONE of the North East’s newest visitor attractions will be on show to the nation when a popular TV programme comes calling.
The BBC’s Antiques Roadshow will be at Seaton Delaval Hall in Northumberland on July 14.
Hall property manager Judith Cashman said around 3,000 people are expected to turn up, some to have their keepsakes valued and others to watch the programme unfold.
Entry will be free on the day. Viewers will be given the history of the hall and the Journal-backed campaign which saw the National Trust save the property for public enjoyment.
“It will all be happening and we are expecting a bumper day,” said Judith.
