How to nominate your hero
TO submit your nominations for The Bupa Great North Run Award, click here and an application form will open.
It will ask for your name, address, telephone number, and the reasons for the nomination in no more than 300 words. It might be that your nomination has triumphed over adversity to run, or perhaps they have a unique story which motivates them to take part.
The online form will be available from this morning.
Another option for those wanting to nominate a friend or family member is to write to us. The address to send your suggestions to is The Journal, Groat Market, Newcastle, NE1 1ED.
