FOUR cars were involved in a collision as wintry weather sweeps the region. Police are advising motorists to avoid the Plessey Road area of Cramlington after the smash at around 6.30pm near the Snowy Owl pub.
No one is believed to have been seriously injured.
A section of the road near to the Seaton Burn roundabout is currently closed.
