There is heavy snow in the Rothbury area of Northumberland.
This has resulted in restricted access for buses travelling to and from Rothbury as a result of snowy road conditions. The local authority is working to clear the roads.
There is also reports of difficult driving conditions in Belford and Seahouses.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and take extra care, particularly on untreated minor roads.
Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front because stopping distances are longer on snowy or icy roads.
Try not to brake sharply, use the gears instead to decelerate, and ensure you have adequate visibility by clearing front and back windscreens and all windows/wing mirrors before setting off.
