A YOUTH, 16, was today charged with the murder of David Scott, 33, from Stanley, County Durham.
Police said he would be appearing before magistrates in Peterlee later today.
Mr Scott, a father-of-two from South Stanley, died in Newcastle’s RVI in the early hours of Sunday, December 23 after being found fatally injured with stab wounds in a back lane behind Rose Avenue, South Moor, Stanley, four hours earlier.
He had desperately knocked on doors begging for help. Mr Scott lived with his mother Janice, 61, and two young children.
