TRIBUTES have been paid to a 16-year-old boy who died in Gateshead.
Jordan Gray was found dead at his home in Barkwood Road, Rowlands Gill, Gateshead, on Saturday November 17.
Friends have paid tribute to the St Thomas More pupil through social networking site Facebook. A tribute page on Facebook has been set up entitled RIP Jordan Gray (Known as Banty) - God only takes the best.
One friend wrote: "Jordan Gray a much loved and popular young lad! Took far too soon, Highfield's finest!
"Had a heart of gold and he's going to be missed by everyone! Never forget you Banty. Rest in peace and show the angels how to session. Love you."
An inquest has been opened and adjourned and a report has been prepared for the coroner.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "At around 6.10am on November 17 police attended an address at Barkwood Road, Gateshead, where a 16-year-old young man was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner has been informed."
