A TEENAGE girl is in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after a crash between a car and a van.
The 19-year-old was taken to hospital following the crash on Watergate Bank in Sunniside, Gateshead, at 9.40am this morning, Saturday, November 17.
The girl's injuries are described as "potentially life-threatening". The road has been closed temporarily with diversions in place.
