THE GIRLFRIEND of Newcastle United ace Danny Simpson today spoke of her shock over reports of his relationship with X-Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos.

Stephanie Ward, 25, said she had been left "numb" after photos emerged of Simpson and Tulisa checking into a Manchester Hotel.

And she criticised the N-Dubz singer following claims the pair spent Wednesday night at Simpson's home in Newcastle.

Stephanie, who is pregnant with the couple's second child, reportedly said: "She's been sleeping in my bed. Danny has humiliated me in front of my family, friends and the whole nation.

"We've been off-and-on for the last seven years - but absolutely solid for the past two years. As far as I'm concerned he has cheated on me because we hadn't broken up or anything."

Tulisa last night said on Twitter that she does not want to get into a "public war of words“ with Stephanie Simpson.
