THE daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland is to marry, it has been announced this morning.
Lady Melissa Percy, the duke and duchess' youngest daughter, is to wed Thomas van Straubenzee.
The wedding is to take place next summer.
A statement from the Percy family confirmed: "The Duke and Duchess of Northumberland are delighted to announce the engagement of their younger daughter Melissa Percy to Mr Thomas van Straubenzee.
"The wedding is planned to take place in the summer of 2013."
