Woman killed in South Shields blaze named

A WOMAN killed after a blaze at her South Tyneside flat was named by police this morning.
Claire Golightly was killed on Wednesday afternoon at her home on Richardson Avenue, South Shields.
A post-mortem was carried out on the 39-year-old mother but proved inconclusive.
Firefighters found the woman inside the property and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
