Train services resume

RAIL services between Newcastle and Berwick have resumed after a body was found on the track at Benton this morning.

A rail replacement bus service was in operation and passengers faced delays of up to an hour, but services started again just before 12pm.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the incident.
