Pensioner robbed in Byker
A PENSIONER riding a mobility scooter was robbed on Tyneside today.
The attack happened at approximately 8am on Shields Road, Byker, Newcastle, when the 75-year-old man was approached by a man riding a red mountain bike.
His hand was grabbed and he had a quantity of cash stolen. He sustained minor injuries but did not receive hospital treatment.
