Cars destroyed in Gateshead blaze

SEVERAL cars have been destroyed in a blaze at a Gateshead car salesroom.

Firefighters were called to the scene at Station Road in Lowfell just before midnight yesterday.

The showroom, on two floors, was badly damaged by fire and smoke. A BMW, Ford Fiesta and another unkown vehicle were destroyed in the blaze.
