Man in intensive care after falling out of taxi in North Shields

A YOUNG man suffered serious head injuries when he fell out of a moving taxi.

For reasons that are still unknown, the 21-year-old fell out of a passenger door on Norham Road North Shields at around 2am on Saturday.

Police want to trace the two men who were earlier in the taxi with the injured man, who is today in intensive care at Newcastle General Hospital.
