Durham v Lancashire: Day two weather update
DESPITE blue skies overhead, no play was possible in the first session of day two of Durham's County Championship game at home to Lancashire.
The rain which had poured down since just after 3 o'clock the previous day left the outfield so wet, umpires Jeremy Llyod and Rob Bailey decided to bring lunch forward to 12.30pm, when they will inspect again.
Lancashire are waiting to resume their innings on 136-5. Durham have the only bonus point of the game so far.
