Durham v Worcestershire: Day Three close

Michael Di Venuto is leading the Durham run chase after Worcestershire were bowled out for 179 in their second innings.

Liam Plunkett took his fourth and fifth wickets of the innings - and his 11th in the match - by bowling Chris Whelan middle stump before Matt Mason was caught at gully by Callum Thorp.

That set Durham 179 to win and, although Kyle Coetzer was dismissed by Ashley Noffke, caught behind for 15, only the storms which are forecasted in the morning can deprive them of a fourth successive Liverpool Victoria County Championship victory.

Durham need 115 more runs with nine wickets remaining.
