Burley opponents

North Benwell are bringing up another squad from Leeds - Batesons Burley Hill - for their club show at the Newcastle Labour Club on Thursday night.

Benwell's knock-out king Tom Dowling will feature along with 16-year-old Xubair Khan who is returning to the ring after a year out.

Two schoolboys are making their debuts - Shaun Loxley and Chris Rogers.

Birtley's experienced Craig Dixon will take on a Leeds opponent in one of the top bouts.

The West End Development Consortium, active in regenerating the area, have financially backed the show.

Tickets cost £8 and will be available on the door.
