Archie’s medal double

MORPETH’s Archie Jenkins claimed two medals at the Scottish Masters Championships in Grangemouth.

Jenkins, competing for Cambuslang, won the gold medal in the 1,500 and 5,000 metres and finished runner-up in the 800 metres in the over-55 section.

Tynedale’s Lynne Marr, competing for Shettleston, won gold in the 1,500 metres in the over-45 age group.
