Life was a beach at Blyth Running Club's third annual junior races' event.
All races were held on the beach over distances of 400m, 800m, one mile and 1.5 miles.
The under-six 400m saw victories for Jade Stephenson and Callum Gray.
The boys' under-nine race, held over 800m, was won by Cameron Blackett, with Darcy Falconer victorious in the girls' event.
In the under-11 age group, George Skirrow took the boys' race and Sarah Wilkes the girls' competition for the second year in succession.
The under-13s also raced over one mile, and this saw Sophie Taylor of Birtley win the girls' section and Blyth's Ellis Hetherington the boys' event.
The under-15s covered more than 1.5 miles and the girls' event produced the closest finish of the day, Erin Rodgers just beating Kirstie Johnson.
Scott Jenkinson claimed the boys' title in 10min 23sec.
