Sunderland boxer guaranteed Olympic medal

Sunderland boxer Tony Jeffries is guaranteed an Olympic medal after winning his quarter-final fight.

The light-heavyweight beat Hungary's Imre Szello 10-2 in the Workers' Indoor Arena in Beijing. He makes it through to the semi-finals and is guaranteed a bronze medal.

He will now fight Ireland's Kenny Egan in the semi-final on Friday.
