UEFA Cup draw

Newcastle United’s conquerors AZ Alkmaar will take on German side Werder Bremen in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup.

In the draw, made in Glasgow today, Tottenham were paired with UEFA Cup holders Seville, while Osasuna, who eliminated Rangers this week, face Bayer Leverkusen.

The third Spanish side in the draw, Espanyol, will take on Portuguese giants Benfica.

The ties will be played on April 26 and May 3.
