NORTHERN STARS halted a run of five successive defeats by taking a point in a 4-4 draw at Telford Titans.

They did not get off to the best of starts as they conceded three first period goals in as many minutes. James Moss cut the deficit two minutes into the second period and 11 minutes later defenceman Ross Hanlon added another.

With two minutes left of the period Telford restored their two-goal advantage, but Anthony Price tucked away a third for Stars midway through the final period. With under three minutes remaining the visitors got the equaliser thanks to Richard Emerson scoring on the powerplay.
