Jerramie Domish: I'd love to stay at the Vipers

NEWCASTLE Vipers’ player of the season contender Jerramie Domish insists he would love to stay on at the club next season.
Defenceman Domish, one of the speed kings of the Elite League, is a firm contender for the Vipers’ annual MVP award in his first year on Tyneside.
But, with Newcastle’s season having been on the slide since before Christmas, there is speculation that Domish is being targeted by a rival Elite League club or richer teams abroad.
The player himself, though, would relish another season in a city which he has quickly come to regard as a home from home.
“If everything is presented right, I would love to stay in Newcastle,” said Domish, who signed for the Vipers from Danish Superliga side Esbjerg last summer.
“I love the city and the fans are great – they’ve shown me a lot of love and support. The North East, as you guys call it, is a great area.
“Hockey-wise, although we’ve had a tough time recently, I’ve loved it too. I’ve had a great time all year and met some great guys – the British players here in particular. They work really hard.
