The Graeme Strong Column - Going Strong

Things have been going quite well for me of late and I've managed to record a few good finishes. I was delighted to finish fourth at the Moravia Silesia Open following four fairly consistent rounds of 68, 68, 70 and 72.

It's nice to be right up there on the leaderboard on the final day and it's a shame I couldn't have got another 68 as that would have given me my second win on the European Tour.

Still, there were plenty of positives to take away from the Czech Republic and the performance also enabled me to get into the top 40 in Europe's order of merit and the all-important Race to Dubai.

After that event I took a bit of break and then had a great time at the fantastic Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall.

I played alongside several other European Tour professionals including Lee Slattery, fellow County Durham player Rob Dinwiddie and Philip Archer as well as celebrities from the worlds of sport, television and entertainment, including Sir Alex Ferguson, Peter Shilton, Kris Akabusi Willie Thorne and Steve Cram.
