THE pick of the games in the Premier Division is Alnwick – top and unbeaten in the league this season – playing host to fourth place Harraby CC.

The visitors will be seeking revenge for the two defeats, in the league in Carlisle and the Challenge Cup tie at Alnwick.

Although Harraby have a couple of games in hand over Alnwick this is a must-win match for the Cumbrian outfit.

Ponteland United, second in the Premier Division, take on Stocksfield at the Leisure Centre hoping to close in on the League leaders. After a management change, Stocksfield appear to be improving and will be looking for points to ease their relegation worries.

Blyth Town welcome Seaton Delaval Amateurs to their South Newsham ground with an eye on the Challenge Cup semi-finals the following week.

Bottom Club Cramlington Town travel to Heaton Stannington hoping to gain some reward from their recent improved performance against Carlisle City. The home club are handily placed in fifth looking to close the gap on the two Carlisle-based teams just above them.

Percy Main Amateurs welcome Shankhouse to Purvis Park for the first meeting between the Clubs this season. After an encouraging start on their return to the Premier Division the home side will be looking to confirm the good form shown in the Challenge Cup win last week. Shankhouse are suffering from inconsistency this season and will be looking to bounce back from the previous week’s cup defeat.

Carlisle City have reversed the scheduled fixture due to a doubt regarding the availability of the Sheepmount and visit Walker Central.

The Cumbrians will be hoping to continue their good away form after last week’s win at Cramlington Town.

Gateshead Rutherford travel up the Tyne Valley to Wark hoping to improve on the drawn game between these two sides on the first day of the season.

Ashngton Colliers face Killingworth Sporting at Hirst Welfare. The Colliers have only won once at home this season.
