JARROW hope to return to action at Windscale this afternoon and rekindle their faltering season.
Before the break the South Tynesiders’ form was indifferent which resulted in them slipping to eighth position.
“This is a big game for both sides. Windscale are sixth but just three points separate us and we have played three fewer games.
“I feel the need to freshen the team up a bit and add experience and leadership to the squad so I’ve signed Nicky Pain and Marc Brocklehurst and could also have Chris Hope available today,” said manager Dave Bell.
New Marske enjoy a four-points lead at the top of the table but have fulfilled four more fixtures than nearest rivals Easington Colliery.
The Seasiders hope to resume at home to Ashbrooke Belford House but cannot name Alex Anderson, Dave Hick, Scott Davies or Martyn Say. Ashbrooke welcome the return of Mark Eggleston but Mark Green is ruled out.
Easington Colliery have no selection worries for their game at Darlington Cleveland Bridge who definitely miss Brendan Lally, Richard Snowdon and Matthew Thomas.
They are hopeful, however, that John Clegg, Michael Richardson and Bradley Woods will be able to play.
Prudhoe Town secretary Chris Lowther anticipates having four new signings available for the game with Willington at Kimberley Park but Andy Hoban, Ian Costello and Lee Best are sidelined.
Silksworth’s only absentee against Boldon CA is Jonathan Fox. Stockton Town also miss just one player. Joe Hinchley cannot turn out at Coxhoe Athletic, who have Tom Orton available following suspension.
Ryhope CW, who returned to action when they defeated Kirkbymoorside in the Wearside League Cup on Wednesday night, travel down the A19 to Hartlepool who are unable to consider Greg Swansbury.
Pools have Shaun Ross and Mark Bell suspended.
