TONIGHT’S Blue Square Bet Premier matches due to involve Darlington and Gateshead have been postponed as the wintry weather continues to have a telling effect on the fixture programme.

Darlington’s home clash with Histon and Barrow’s visit to Gateshead were both called off yesterday due to frozen pitches.

Durham City’s Evo-Stik League Challenge Cup second round tie at Sheffield FC tonight is subject to a pitch inspection today – as are the region’s other non-League games – in the Ernest Armstrong Memorial Cup and STL Northern League.
