WARK finally edged out Walker Central to go clear at the top of the Premier Division, three points in front after a fifth away win on the trot. Tony Lancaster (2), John Famelton, Mark Campbell and Daniel Carter were on target in a 5-0 win at Cramlington Town.
Walker had lost to Newcastle University the previous Saturday and lost again, 3-1 at Blyth Town, surrendering their 100% away record in the process.

Heaton Stannington’s home form has been impressive and they leapfrogged over Carlisle City to claim third spot after beating their Cumbrian visitors 4-0, City’s first defeat away from home.
