IAN Little has challenged his Berwick Rangers players to reverse recent history after his first manager of the month award.
Despite picking up the Scottish Third Division prize, caretaker Little has still not been handed the permanent job.
The 38-year-old has two more games, starting at Peterhead tonight, to state his case.
Berwick go into the game level on points with Elgin, who sit in the final play-off spot with two games in hand. They travel to Clyde tonight.
Little said: “I knew we could get back up there.
“We had two years getting off to a great start and then falling away in the second half of the season.
“I think it is maybe the chance to go the opposite way this year.
“Stranraer started poorly last season but had a great finish.
“We are looking to try and push on and kick on. We hopefully can have a good Christmas.
“If you have a bit of form at this time you can change things.”
Little oversaw three wins and a draw in November to steady the ship after Jimmy Crease’s sacking.
Little added: “I am delighted to take the award on behalf of the players because they make the difference.
“It has been a joint effort and I can only do what I can. I have two games left.
“I could win every game and they could still give it to someone else.
“The award helps, though. I have just changed a few things.
“They know what I want and that training will be hard.”
Fraser McClaren returns from injury and Richard Walker is back from holiday.
