CONSETT will replay their First Qualifying Round FA Cup tie at North Ferriby United next Tuesday after the sides shared an eight-goal thriller at Belle Vue Park last night.

The Steelmen led 4-2 through Mattie Moffat, Steve Johnson (2) and Jonjo Dickman but two goals in as many minutes from Russell Fry and Steve Torpey earned the visitors a second chance. Sam Denton had twice levelled.

Whickham crashed out of the FA Vase as Stokesley SC won 4-1 courtesy of Lev Yalcin, with a brace, Neil Radigan and Gareth Williams. Graeme Jackson claimed an 86th-minute consolation.

One game was played in the Skilltrainingltd Northern League First Division and despite Ryton equalising with two goals from Mark Walton, they ended 4-2 behind Shildon, whose marksmen were Stephen Jones (og), Warren Byrne, Lee Chapman and Stuart Niven.

Northallerton Town defeated Sunderland RCA in the Northern League Cup with strikes by John Ryan (2), Gabriel Radu and Stephen Roberts. Michael Chapman and David Tait responded for the Wearsiders.

Billingham Synthonia saw off Crook Town 3-1. James Magowan made sure after Colin Iley and David Yale (pen) had netted. Nick Quinn was Crook's scorer. In the Wearside League, Easington Colliery conceded their 100% record in a draw with Cleator Moor Celtic, who were two goals up through Leigh Dunn and Gary George. Peter Crawford and Robert Huntley won the Colliers a point.
