WILLINGTON manager Trevor Ball, hoping for the first point of the season, is desperately looking for a new goalkeeper in time for this afternoon’s game with Ashbrooke Belford House at Hall Lane.
Regular keeper Will Coulson spent two nights in hospital last weekend after sustaining a facial injury in the game with Kirkbymoorside and his deputy Craig Alston has returned to university.
Jarrow enjoyed their first victory in midweek and go to East Durham United stronger with the inclusion of Keith Hallway and Stephen Coburn. Chris McDonald and Richard Stubbs though are rated doubtful. East Durham give a debut to Peter Deary.
Silksworth have a 22-man squad to choose from for the visit of Guisborough but secretary Steven Smith will need to check on the fitness of Michael Curtis and Ross Taylor. Coxhoe Athletic, who together with Newton Aycliffe and Easington Colliery have maximum points, visit New Marske stronger with the availability of Simon Ord, Danny Chapman, Les Langley and Craig Swainston. This week they recruited Bradley Woods and Adam Combie.
