BERWICK RANGERS ended a dismal season with what stand-in manager Jimmy Crease described as “probably the best performance of the campaign”.
He praised his side although he did admit they gave away two silly goals. Relegated Rangers conceded for the 100th time in the league this season when Scott Agnew netted.
Berwick’s Iain Thomson tapped in the equaliser early in the second half. Just before the hour substitute Andy Ferguson restored the home side’s lead, clinching their place in the play-offs.
