Annfield Plain reached the final of the Monkwearmouth Charity Cup beating Jarrow 4-2 on penalties. Plain were three up but Jarrow fought back to 3-3 by half time. The home side went 4-3 up but the visitors equalised in stoppage time. Daniel Briggs, Calvin Armstrong, Stephen Kirkbride and Chris Magee struck for Plain with Craig Armstrong (2), Andrew Barclay and Chris Goss on the mark for Jarrow.
