OWNING a motorhome is a great way to enjoy regular breaks away with all the mod cons of home close at hand.

While traditionally motorhomes have appealed to the more affluent retired market, Jonathan Bell, a partner in Tyne Valley Motorhomes, says they are ideal for families too.

Tyne Valley Motorhomes was founded by Jonathans parents, Derek and Elaine Armstrong 16 years ago. It used to be based at Pickering Nook for five years. Now its one of the Norths leading family-run motorhome centres with a choice of around 100 new and pre-owned motorhomes available for sale at its showroom at Byermoor near Burnopfield on the A692 Gateshead to Consett road.

It is the main agent for a wide range of motorhomes including Auto Trail, Autocruise, Ace, Autoroller, Compass, Bessacarr, Elddiss, Excel, Hobby, Roller Team and Trigano.

When it comes to quality used vehicles, the range is equally vast and each is certified by the National Caravan Council so you can be sure that what youre buying has been independently and expertly tested.

From budget 7ft-long micro- motorhomes to high-end 28ft Tag Axels, the dealership has an extensive range of more than 70 new and used models on show retailing at very competitive prices.
