IT'S been 12 weeks since our Fit Factor challengers began their incredible weight loss journey with fitness guru David Fairlamb. The Journal and Real Radio have been following the Active 8 every step of the way.
Police Officer Daniel Henderson from Windy Nook, Gateshead has been named the winner of the competition. The 37-year-old dad of two has lost just over four stone in 12 weeks going from 17st 11lbs to 13st 10lbs.
He said: “It’s certainly not finished. It was the kick start I needed. I’m so thankful for the opportunity.
12 weeks ago I was just lounging around at 18 stone and now I’m back training. I never ever thought I would get back to that position - so to do it in 12 weeks is just incredible. It’s given me a big chunk of my life back.”
