Leading high street chain Next has a stunning collection of menswear for the up-coming season and is celebrating with a new-look store in the region. Liz Lamb finds out more.
DEFINITIVE British tailoring and designer-look casual wear are the foundations for Next’s new autumn/winter range.
The high street brand is making a bold statement with the return of high-powered silhouettes and 1980s design accents that are pure Wall Street.
Key pieces include navy bold stripe suits, grey checked tailoring and pink check shirts, accessorised with black Italia shoes, pinstripe ties and nailfile cufflinks.
In contrast, there are structured slim-fit cuts in the Future Noir collection which provide a contemporary alternative to suiting and feature deep berry hues, a welcome addition to the usual greys and blacks.
A monochrome palette is offset against highlights of purple and mulberry and includes a tweed jacket, skull tie and berry shirt and tie set Casualwear is diverse with the Red October range drawing inspiration from military deigns and detailing while Future Imperfect looks to the rock aesthetic of T-shirts, denim and accessories.
